Have you ever held a grudge? I'm sorry to say that I have. It's almost always unintentional (of course, right?), but it happens, and it's icky when it does.
But eventually, I'll either simply let go of my hurt or anger, or will actively choose to forgive. Either way, the ickiness dissipates, leaving room for love to flourish again. That's a much better space to live in. MLK knew that, and he was right.
